Adopted From China: Finding My Identity in Christ | Melissa’s Story

What happens when you know who you are, but there are still pieces of your story you don’t know? Melissa Joy Yeung was adopted from China and raised in a loving Christian family. At 18, while writing a college application essay about identity, she discovered the names of her birth parents, and eventually met them, including a sister she had never known. Her story is about more than adoption. It’s about Asian American identity, faith, family, calling, and learning to see God’s faithfulness through every season of life.
