As I Am Media empowers Asian American Christian voices through compelling video content and social media, encouraging reflection on the intersection of identity and daily life. Our mission is to elevate biblical truths, share inspiring faith journeys, and foster meaningful discussions on the intersections of Asian American culture and Christian faith.
What inspired As I Am?

God refers to Himself as "I AM” in the Old Testament, “God said to Moses, 'I AM who I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” (Exodus 3:14) Similarly, Jesus identifies Himself with several “I AM” statements in the New Testament, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life" (John 14:6).
As Christians, we aim to reflect the identity of Christ in our everyday walk. When we go to God, we want to go as we are, fully embracing our identity and how we were created. We also realize that God has given us diverse communities and cultures. As I Am is a play on the word “Asian” to highlight the complex intersecting identities of being Christian and Asian American.
