Dorcas Ministries has been supporting the Chinese immigrant community in New York City by meeting practical and spiritual needs. In this video, hear the story of Grace Mo, who took up this vital ministry in 1990 to speak up for those who could not speak for themselves. Starting with outreach to garment factory workers, Dorcas Ministries evolved to address the growing needs of the Fuzhounese immigrant community. Following the immigration waves of the early 1990s, Grace Mo helped create Summer Splash, a safe and nurturing program for the children of immigrant families. What began with just 25 children has grown to serve over 200 youth, many of whom have returned as leaders carrying on this legacy of service and community care.
